The donkey milk soaps and cosmetics from Au Pays des Ânes are perfectly safe for use during pregnancy and suitable for children. The only exception is the Light Legs Gel, which contains essential oils and is therefore not recommended for pregnant women. For babies’ delicate skin, we advise choosing the Nature range.
Donkey milk used in soaps and cosmetics can be incorporated either fresh or in powdered form, known as freeze-dried milk. While fresh milk better preserves the natural benefits of donkey milk, it is more costly than its freeze-dried counterpart. This is why some brands choose to work with freeze-dried milk. At Au Pays des Ânes, however, quality is a top priority — all soaps and cosmetics are made exclusively with fresh, organic donkey milk.
The amount of fresh, organic donkey milk used in our formulations ranges from 1% to 10%, depending on the product’s purpose and its combination with other ingredients. Most of our soaps and cosmetics contain 10% fresh donkey milk, ensuring they deliver all the renowned benefits for which donkey milk is so highly valued.
